Here’s what you need to know when inquiring about properties online.
Today, we just want to take a moment to inform you about what happens when you inquire about a property online. We’ve noticed there’s a bit of confusion surrounding this topic, so we just want to quickly clear things up.
When you inquire about a property on a website such as Zillow, you usually aren’t reaching out directly to the listing agent. Instead, your interest will alert a Realtor who is paying that website for leads. That means that if you show interest in a property and just want to ask some questions about it, you’ll probably get spammed with Realtors and lenders looking to secure your business.
Instead of using sites to reach out, use the MLS instead. If you already have a Realtor, ask them to inquire about the property for you.
If you have questions about this topic or anything else, please call or email us. We’d love to help!
